Family Fun

Brian and his family came to visit this week, so Ann Maxwell got to meet more family for the first time. She had a blast playing with her cousins and found Savannah especially funny. Savannah seemed to have a knack for making Ann Maxwell laugh. It was a busy week. We went to New Albany, celebrated Aunt Jennifer's birthday, went to eat at the Rendezvous, visited the Stax Museum of Soul Music, and even made it to a Redbirds game (Ann Maxwell's first ever baseball game - or sporting event of any kind, for that matter). She handled all the hubbub like a champ and reminded me again what a good baby she is. Although she still hates her carseat, I've learned that once we go anywhere she loves to be out and about. She's a people-watcher! On Sunday we hit the road once again to go to Ripley for Molly-Kate Rolison's christening. We capped off the weekend with a visit from Papaw and Cici. Overall, it's been a super-busy week, the busiest we've had in a long, long time. It was exhausting, but also lots of fun. Here are a few pics from the week.... There are also a few new ones in the slideshow on the top right of the screen! By the way, Ann Maxwell is rolling over all the time now and trying to crawl across the floor. She does this hilarious inchworm, Marine belly crawl across the floor. It's so cute. I'll try to get a video of it up soon. She can actually traverse a pretty good distance like this. Looks like babyproofing the house is my next big task! Look out Little Bit. Baby's on the move!
