Ann Maxwell has become very vocal lately. She seems to try to talk or sing all the time. The video above shows her "talking" to one of her favorite toys, a yellow monkey. (Don't ask me why she loves monkeys so much, but she does.) My mom was playing with her on the floor, and they laughed and had a good time having a "conversation" with Yellow Monkey. (Kathy S-J. if you're reading this, yes, we name everything with colors just like the old days - haha!)
Ann Maxwell continues to grow and learn more each day, and we are continually fascinated with watching her discover things. While she still is mesmerized by her hands, she is broadening her interests to things like grasping toys and chewing on them and trying to roll over. The best development of late is that she now smiles all the time. She seems to be very happy and in a good mood almost all the time. It is the most beautiful sight in the world to us, and we are so thankful to see such joy on our baby's face.
In other news, Chris has finally traded in the trusty 4Runner after a decade together. He's excited to be getting a new car, but I think a little sad to see his old ride go after so long. Farewell 4Runner....
