I promise to write more later, but for now I'll just post these photos. We've had a busy summer so far. We've taken a trip to Magee, celebrated birthdays, and taken a family trip to the beach! For those of you who keep up with our travel trials, Ann Maxwell did perfectly on the ride to Ft. Morgan. She barely made a peep the whole day. However, the ride back was payback... She slept for 20 minutes the entire ride back and was unhappy the rest of the time. It was a rough day! The rest of the days of vacation, though, were wonderful! We spent time with family, played at the beach, and swam in the pool. Ann Maxwell is a water baby for sure! She loved the ocean, the sand, and the pool. She was completely fearless about it all, and tried to insist we let her do everything by herself. She played with her cousins, and even learned she loves to eat fish! In other news, Ann Maxwell has become a climber! She now spends her days climbing all over our furniture. I even caught her sitting on top of her activity table, just watching TV. She was given a beautiful child-size rocking chair by my great-aunt Christine, and she loves to climb onto it, stand up, and rock! After one hard tumble, Mommy put it away for a while, although Ann Maxwell was unfazed. I'm taking Ann Maxwell to a weekly music class this summer. She loves playing the instruments, particularly the drums, and she's warming up to the group sing-a-longs. Today she had a blast during the "parachute time" in class. Anyway, we're now home for the remainder of the summer. All our travels are over for a few weeks at least. We'll be celebrating Chris' birthday on Sunday (yes, he was born on the Fourth of July), so I'm sure more photos will be up soon. Our best to everyone out there!
