Ann Maxwell has always been a happy baby, even through the days of colic and reflux, but here lately she is always full of smiles and laughter. It is, without a doubt, the most beautiful thing I have ever seen, and I'm lucky enough to get to see it every day. We're so blessed to have a happy, healthy baby. The only time she isn't happy is in the car (and let me tell you that is the is the polar opposite of happy!), but we're working through that. The following is just a brief clip of her laughing. Please pretend you do not hear me cackling like a monkey in the background, but what can I say - the child loves monkeys, and I'll do anything for a laugh!
Ann Maxwell is also learning to sit up and is making progress on crawling - scary significant progress! Here are a few photos of the trials of sitting up like a big girl...
Ann Maxwell has also discovered television. While we don't watch much of it at all (it still is a distant second to toys that can be chewed on and watching Little Bit), we have gotten in the habit of tuning in to PBS in the mornings. Ann Maxwell wakes up, eats a little bit of breakfast, and usually watches Word World for a little while before starting her day. She seems to really like it, as long as she can chew on her fingers while watching...
If you haven't checked in with us in a while, please see the post below with her five-month birthday photos. We hope you had a wonderful Labor Day holiday! Our best to all out there!
