Pumpkins, Ponies, and Crawling... Almost!

Today we took Ann Maxwell to Cedar Hill Farm in Hernando to enjoy the sunshine and pick out pumpkins for Halloween. We had a great time! There was a pumpkin patch, hayride, petting zoo, pony rides, playgrounds, and much more that she's not quite old enough for just yet. Here are a few photos from our fun day!

Our fair-skinned princess needed a hat in the rare, but beautiful sunshine to protect her. She's so sensitive to the sun, but I'm afraid that came honestly from both sides. She, thankfully, likes her hat, though.

One tired baby after a fun afternoon!

Ann Maxwell is now a mobile machine! She is creeping extremely well across the floor and wants to be down and active all the time. She's gone from wanting to be held all the time to reaching for the floor and wanting to move! Every day she works on her crawling. She's almost got it! She can rock back and forth on all fours and move either the hands or the legs, just not at the same time. She rolls around to all her toys, spins in a helicopter motion, creeps, and lunges all over the place. It's fascinating to watch her determination as she works on coordinating her movements to get where she wants to go or to reach what she wants. She has her Daddy's focus and is a girl on a mission when she spies a target. Her favorite target, of course, is Little Bit, who cruelly sits and waits until Ann Maxwell is inches away before darting off. Ann Maxwell works so hard to get to her precious kitty-cat, to no avail. Chris and I feel so badly for her that we hold Little Bit close so Ann Maxwell can finally pet her. She laughs and squeals and shrieks with joy when this happens. It is so cute!



Well, we now have pumpkins and a bumblebee costume ready for Halloween. I can't wait to get those pictures! We hope all is well with everyone out there. Our best to you always. Thanks for checking in with us....
